Week 6

Day 35: #Covid19HomePrison Back on the happy train with school work. Today was a breeze and Anthony was all smiles! He even had his first virtual Speech session and he actually participated the entire time! I made some phone calls to plan some extras for his birthday on Saturday. It’s a little different this year and I was okay about it until tonight.. I’m so sad that we aren’t planning a day trip somewhere, or a birthday party with all his family. But it will be a special day at home, filled with good food and candy and cupcakes and Spiderman balloons! Verona isn’t allowed to have their first responders do birthday parades. However, my good friend in town contacted her friend’s husband and he made a special trip for Anthony today! After the officer left, Anthony said, “that was really cool!” When this is all over, and everyone feels comfortable being in large groups again.. I hope we can celebrate all the special times we’ve missed out on. #iCanDoThis #StayTheFuckHome #IfYouDontThisLastsLonger

Day 36: #Covid19HomePrison Day 36… And to be honest, I guess I’m happy that the past 36 days have gone as fast as they have? These 36 days have not felt like a lot time, although some days feel like they are 36 days long.. over all it’s been tolerable. . Let’s get real though. MY FIRST BORN WENT TO SLEEP A THREE YEAR OLD AND IS WAKING UP A FOUR YEAR OLD! WTF? How did that happen? When I asked him how he felt about his birthday tomorrow, he said, “Bigger”! Ugh I love him! #iCanDoThis #StayTheFuckHome #IfYouDontThisLastsLonger

Day 37: #Covid19HomePrison On day 37 this household woke up with a brand new 35 year old and a brand new 4 year old. We started the celebration with Montclair Bread Companydonuts and balloons from The Party Store in Caldwelland finished the day with dinner from Stamna Greek Taverna in Bloomfield. I honestly don’t know if there is a better way, food wise, to start our finish your day!? We also Zoomed with 26 family members for birthday cake and drinks (yes, “zoomed” is a phrase now!). 26!?! (What weird times were living in). Anthony received many presents and he basically can not live, eat or sleep without any of them. However, we did convince him to sleep WITHOUT the “BatBot Xtreme”. Mama got herself an
delivery for a 5 hour delivery this morning. I also had a couple packages delivered from amazon and a
order come through this morning! At this point I was already feeling insane amounts of love. THEN, ….THEN, my husband showed me the amazing edited video he had worked on for for at least 8 hours. I am so honored and privilege to have friends and family like you! That video will be my lifeline through these crazy times! (lemme know if you need the link!) I love my @AnthonyDAgostaIII. So instead of a birthday parade, we took the show on the road and delivered groceries to family members and received birthday greetings in return. IV and I have THE BEST family and friends ever! To my husband, AnthonyDAgostaIII, You Sir, are the epitome of husband material. If you weren’t an amazing architect, you could be an editor for the bachelor franchise.. you know.. (@chrisbharrison ). Family and friends I love you and your raw unedited videos.. you all helped to make the day be so filled with hope and love and positivity! I can not thank any of you enough. #iCanDoThis #StayTheFuckHome #IfYouDontThisLastsLonger

Day 38: #Covid19HomePrison Yesterday was so much fun that we were all very lazy today. The boys are cupcakes and fruit for breakfast and played with BatBot before we went outside and enjoyed the sun. The day flew by and we barely did anything. . I’m still feeling all the love from yesterday, thank you to everyone who contributed and to everyone who wrote messages for Anthony and me! #iCanDoThis #StayTheFuckHome #IfYouDontThisLastsLonger

Day 39: #Covid19HomePrison I can officially add barber/hairstylist to my list of careers. Patrick wouldn’t sit long enough for me to fix the back… But I think not too shabby for my first ever haircuts! Between school, haircuts and feeding the boys about 36 times today the day flew by! ..tomorrow is day 40… Wow! #iCanDoThis #StayTheFuckHome #IfYouDontThisLastsLonger

Day 40: #Covid19HomePrison Well, I just realized this never got posted last night. Oops! Sorry! Well. Day 40 and I’m about to be real. I miss my routined days. I miss getting dressed with a purpose and putting make up on for a reason. I miss getting the boys ready and dropping off at school. I miss my alone time with Patrick. I miss being spontaneous. I miss being able to go out to clear my mind. I miss dinners with friends and playdates and …..life. #iCanDoThis #StayTheFuckHome #IfYouDontThisLastsLonger

Day 41: #Covid19HomePrison today was a no good very bad day. I was almost at my breaking point. The fighting and whining, no one listened to any directions, Patrick had 2 accidents… the needing to touch me at ALL times…. WTF?! And there is no where to escape to. It was like being trapped in one of those mirror mazes, every time it seemed like it was calming down and we were going to make it through the rest of the day, I walked into another wall. Today I did not win as a parent. I yelled and screamed and quit. And there’s probably another 40 days?! I like to think I’m strong and most of the time positive… but honestly, will any of us make it out sane? #iCanDoThis #StayTheFuckHome #IfYouDontThisLastsLonger
